38% of Americans Make New Year’s Resolutions

I’m a huge fan of New Year’s Resolutions.

Even though only 38% of all American adults make annual resolutions. And statistically it seems only 9% of us actually complete what we set out to accomplish.

Yes, the odds are stacked against us. But what about the hope and the promise of trying?!

Trying something new or different instead of being stagnate. Aspiring to more instead of living within our comfort zones. Facing fears of failure head on instead of always wondering if we could have, or should have, or would have done things better or differently.

In a lot of ways, sales quotas are a lot like New Year’s resolutions. For many of us, the clock resets and we are all back at zero climbing upward come January 1st.

I am thinking a lot about New Year’s resolutions for 2024. And will most likely share more thoughts about personal and professional New Year’s resolutions in the next two blog posts.

If you plan to make New Year’s resolutions in 2024, feel free to message me or weigh in on the LinkedIn comments!
